The name of this recipe already gives us many hints of what it entails: “Shakerato” is the combination of the English verb “shake” with an Italian ending. And this is precisely how it is done: by shaking an espresso with sugar and ice. The result goes beyond the traditional iced coffee, since by shaking it we manage to completely transform its texture and turn it into a more velvety and creamy drink. If you are generous with the dose of sugar, you will also help increase the viscosity of the coffee and allow it to achieve more creaminess.
In this recipe we have used our No Waste Capsules in the Ristretto variety, made with a blend of 100% organic very roasted coffees that give us that touch of bitterness and body so typical of Italian coffee.
