Origins
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, with documents dating back to the year 900 already referencing its use as a beverage.
Ethiopia is the fifth-largest coffee producer in the world (although this can vary depending on the harvest), and it is undoubtedly one of the leading countries when it comes to quality.
98% of producers are small farms of less than 2 hectares, delivering their cherries to “washing stations,” where the coffee is processed collectively.
This coffee comes from three washing stations located in the south of the country, between the regions of Yirgacheffe and Guji, both highly recognized for the quality of their coffees.
The main variety is Ethiopian Heirloom, a hybrid of different native Typica varieties. Harvest season runs from October to June.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
We find characteristic notes of stone fruits and sweet citrus, mandarin, and jasmine tea. With hints of fresh butter and toffee, and a background of cilantro. Its bright acidity and creamy body come together in an elegant and persistent cup.
