Thanks to its different types of climate and geography, Colombia is the second most biodiverse country in the world. This biodiversity provides a large number of nutrients to the land, which in turn promotes the cultivation of coffees of the highest quality.
It is in this setting of rich crops that we find the famous coffee region where some of the best beans in the world are produced.

SUPREME COFFEE 17/18
The Andes mountain range runs through the department of Huila, Colombia, where the Nevado del Huila volcano is also located. The area's mineral-rich soil and microclimates contribute to a celebrated cup profile, which is typically honeyed, fruity and complex, with a rich and balanced body.
This game also has the "Supremo 17/18" accreditation. Supremo refers to the largest size of beans from Colombia: a size 17 or 18, which is slightly larger than the Excelso distinction.
RAINFOREST ALLIANCE
This batch from Huila comes from a group of small farms, most of which are approximately 2 hectares in size. All of them are managed by the La Meseta Coffee Company.
Several quality agencies in the area carefully control each purchase to ensure traceability and quality. These small farms are planted mainly in Caturra and Castillo, and the processing is carried out according to the traditional method. All producers use manual, crank-operated pulpers to separate the cherry from the beans. They also use raised beds to dry the coffee, which creates ideal air circulation and uniform drying.
The efforts of the coffee growers have been rewarded with the Rainforest Alliance Certification, one of the most demanding sustainability seals, thus achieving a substantial positive impact on the preservation of the region's biodiversity.
