The name of this recipe already gives us many hints of what it entails: “Shakerato” is the combination of the English verb “shake” with an Italian ending. And this is precisely how it is done: by shaking an espresso with sugar and ice. The result goes beyond the traditional iced coffee<\/strong>, since by shaking it we manage to completely transform its texture<\/strong> and turn it into a more velvety and creamy drink<\/strong>. If you are generous with the dose of sugar, you will also help increase the viscosity of the coffee and allow it to achieve more creaminess.<\/p>\n
